Half Moon Bay enjoys a mild Pacific climate; weather is quite temperate year round, with seasonal fog in the late summer. Cool breezes off the ocean are common. The average yearly rainfall is 23 inches and the temperatures may vary between 45 and 75 degrees.
This coastal community is nestled between the green hills of the Santa Cruz Mountains and the powerful Pacific Ocean resulting in magnificent panoramic vistas and miles of beautiful coastline. There are vineyards and many nearby farms that maintain produce stands, offering locally grown artichokes, greens, root vegetables, beans and herbs.
